France accuses Iran: Assets frozen over alleged bomb plot
Foiled plots, cross-border investigations, police raids and asset freezes… Europe and in particular France have Iranian intrigue in their crosshairs. The French are accusing, among others, Tehran‘s deputy intelligence minister over an attempt back in June to target outside Paris the annual convention of a controversial exiled opposition group. The charge was levelled the same day police raided a Shia Muslim support centre in northern France. We look at both and see if there‘s a connection.
