Enloe is 8-0 for the first time in school history, downs SER, 22-13

Raleigh, N.C. — Enloe is a perfect 8-0 for the first time in the school‘s 55 year history.

The Eagles downed Southeast Raleigh, 22-13, on Monday to keep their winning streak alive.

Enloe took the early lead and never looked back.

Hamilton Moore took the ball around the right side and dove into the end zone for the score. The Eagles converted on the two point attempt, giving them the 8-0 lead.

Southeast Raleigh responded with an interception.

Jaeden Wortham was under pressure and lobbed a pass up in the air. That ball landed in the hands Bryce Beard who ran it down to the two yard line, just before the end of the first quarter.

Bulldog quarterback Dominic Williams was forced out of the pocket and found a diving Noah Jackson for the touchdown.

That TD pulled Southeast Raleigh to within a point, 8-7.

The score held through halftime and well into the third quarter.

Moore found the end zone again for the Eagles, this time late in the third. Moore ran the ball in and the extra point was good from Laith Marjan; Eagles then lead, 15-7.

The Eagles scored again with 53 seconds remaining in the game.

Tyree Watson punched it in from the 6 yard line to secure the win, keeping Enloe perfect.

Southeast Raleigh scored as time expired, but it was too late.

Enloe remains undefeated. The Eagles have a bye this Friday and will host Leesville next Friday to celebrate Senior Night.

Southeast Raleigh will be looking for its first win of the season on Friday against Leesville.
